Services offered by South Link Health to Health Organisations
South Link Health offers support services to many health organisations. These services include Information Technology (including Capitation Based Funding register management), Finance, Education, Clinical Programmes management and support, and Consultancy and Expert Services.
Information Services Management
A range of IT services can be provided including capitation based funding, register management, service utilisation activity, clinical performance indicators, provider lists and PHO funded clinical programme activity. We ensure that these functions are managed on behalf of the organisation and in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s IT infrastructure and process requirements.
The IT help desk provides a range of services including infrastructure planning, responding to queries on all products and services provided by South Link Health and BPAC Clinical Solutions. The IT help desk is also available, as an additional service, to provide advice and support Practice Management Systems (PMS). The IT help desk is MedTech engineer certified.
The South Link Health Finance department provides standard accounting and financial services including accounts payable and receivable, GST returns, monthly and annual reports, plus a treasury function. In addition there is a range of other health specific functions offered such as statistical returns as per contracts, payment of capitation and other payments to practices, analysis and costing of PHO projects and reporting on contract lines to District Health Boards.
In association with BPAC Clinical Solutions, we develop and offer clinical programmes that assist health organisations to promote good health, prevent ill health, improve health status and contribute to the effective management of disease. Current programmes include diabetes assessment and insulin initiation, cardiovascular risk assessment and management, Mental Health Brief Intervention, Well Men’s/Well Women’s and Sexual Health.
Consultancy and Expert Services
South Link Health has extensive experience in other key aspects of primary care management (eg. patient enrolment processes and audit requirements) and is well placed to provide this expertise to health organisations.
